Agent payments · x402 / MPP · Home base: Solana

Agents pay APIs per call.

PAYAI is a payment layer for the agent economy, built with Solana as its home base. No subscriptions, no accounts, no invoices — an agent pays for exactly what it calls, at the moment it calls it.

$PAYAI — token snapshot

Snapshot figures supplied with this page · 2026-10-28 12:03 CST · Not live data, not independently verified

Agent payments (x402 / MPP) are a cross-chain movement running on Base, Solana, and Polygon — Solana is a leading home, not the only one, leading in transaction count as reported. $PAYAI trades on Solana; the figures below are the snapshot figures supplied with this page. They are not live data and have not been independently verified — they will be confirmed once the token's contract address is published here.

Read the numbers honestly: sources vary: the token figures above are snapshot figures supplied with this page, not live data and not independently verified, and the ecosystem figures cited across this site are reported numbers too. Solana leads by transaction count, but by transaction value Base — not Solana — leads; agent payments also run on Polygon. TRM estimates that only 0.6%–7.5% of the transaction amount looks like genuine AI-agent payments once wash trading is removed. The direction is real; the exact size is still being argued about — including by us.

Protocol

One call. One payment.
No paperwork in between.

The payment rides inside the HTTP exchange itself. An API quotes a price, the agent pays it, the answer comes back — three moves, no billing department.

STEP 01

The agent calls an API

Any agent — a research bot, a trading agent, a support agent — requests a resource the normal way. If it is priced, the API answers 402 Payment Required with the price and the network.

STEP 02

Payment attaches to the call

The agent signs a stablecoin payment and retries the same request with the payment attached. No sign-up, no API key, no credit card on file — the payment is the credential.

STEP 03

The API responds, settlement clears

The API verifies the payment and returns the data. For scale, payments clear through payment channels and batch settlement, so thousands of micropayments settle together on Solana, PAYAI's home chain.

Features

Built for software
that buys software.

Agents do not think in monthly plans. They think in tasks. PAYAI prices the task.

Per-call micropayments

Charge fractions of a cent per request — viable because PAYAI settles on its home base, Solana.

No subscriptions

No tiers, no seat licenses. An agent that calls once pays once; usage and cost mean the same thing.

Batch settlement

Thousands of calls accumulate off the critical path and clear together through payment channels.
